This Privacy Policy sets out our approach to ensure you are informed about how we collect, hold and use your personal information, and under what circumstances we may disclose your personal information. The Privacy Policy also outlines your rights to, and the method of, gaining access to, seeking corrections of, and having deleted, your information we hold. This policy applies to all users of the Bondi Beach Babes website, mobile application, and business portal (collectively, the "Platform"). We comply with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
Age Restriction and Children’s Privacy
Bondi Beach Babes is intended solely for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect, solicit, or store personal information from anyone under the age of 18. We do not allow anyone under 18 to register for an account, use our mobile application, or access our services. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a person under the age of 18, we will take immediate steps to delete that information from our servers and terminate any associated account. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child under 18 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at hello@bondibeachbabes.com.au so that we can take appropriate action. We do not direct any of our content, products, or services to children under 18, and our Platform is not designed for or intended to attract anyone under the age of 18.

Sensitive information includes things such as race, sexual orientation, political opinions, membership of trade associations, criminal record or health information. Information We Collect From You
When you sign up to become a Bondi Beach Babes member, we will usually ask for: your first name and surname, date of birth (to verify you are 18 or older), residential or professional address, telephone number, email address, and professional profile information. We may also ask you to nominate a username and password. For business portal users, we additionally collect business name, ABN, business category, business address, and logo. We will not collect Personal Information unless the information is reasonably necessary to establish an account for you and provide our services to you.
Information Collected Via Mobile Application
When you use our mobile application, we may collect: device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers, IP address, mobile network information, and general location data. We may also collect usage data such as features accessed, pages viewed, interactions with content (including discount views, event clicks, and group activity), and app performance data. If you enable push notifications, we collect your device token to deliver notifications. You can disable push notifications at any time through your device settings.
Information Collected Via the Website
Most commercial websites use cookies — pieces of information sent to the browser and stored on the computer hard-drive. Cookies make using the Website easier by storing information such as your preferences, allowing the Website to be tailored to you on return visits. Cookies will not be used to identify you personally. We also collect browser type, location, IP address, and information about when and how you use our website.
Your Option Not to Provide Personal Information
Providing us with your Personal Information is optional but may be required for us to provide you with the services we offer. We require your consent to process your Personal Information for marketing purposes and to maintain your membership account. We use trusted third-party service providers to help us operate our Platform and deliver our services. Our key service providers include: Supabase (authentication and database hosting), Stripe (payment processing — Stripe collects and processes your payment card details directly; we do not store your full card number), Google Maps (address autocomplete and geocoding), Humanitix (event ticketing), and Apple/Google (app distribution and in-app purchases). Each third-party provider has its own privacy policy governing the use of your information. We encourage you to review their respective privacy policies.
International Data Transfers
Some of our third-party service providers are based outside Australia. By using our Platform, you consent to the transfer of your Personal Information to countries outside Australia, where data protection laws may differ. We take reasonable steps to ensure that any overseas recipients handle your information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles.
Security of Personal Information
We are committed to keeping your Personal Information secure and take all reasonable steps to protect it from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest, secure authentication mechanisms, and restrict access to Personal Information to authorised personnel only. In the event that Personal Information is compromised, we will promptly notify those affected in compliance with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme under the Privacy Act 1988. Data Retention
We retain your Personal Information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Active account data is retained for the duration of your membership. If you delete your account, we will delete or de-identify your Personal Information within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain certain records (such as payment transaction records, which are retained for 7 years for tax and legal compliance purposes). Anonymised analytics data that cannot be used to identify you may be retained indefinitely.
Access to Your Personal Information
In most cases, you have the right to access the Personal Information that we hold about you. If you wish to access your Personal Information or obtain more information about how we process it, please contact us. We will deal with all requests as quickly as possible, and within 30 days of receiving your request.
The Right to Correction and Removal
Should you suspect that Personal Information we hold about you is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete or misleading, or if you would like your information deleted entirely, please contact us. You may also request account deletion directly through the mobile application or by emailing hello@bondibeachbabes.com.au. Upon receiving a deletion request, we will delete your account and associated Personal Information within 30 days. We will deal with all requests for correction and removal as quickly as possible.
Disposal of Personal Information No Longer Required
If we hold personal information about you and we no longer need that information for any purpose for which it may be used or disclosed, we will take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify that information unless we are prevented from doing so by law.

To unsubscribe from our email database, please use any link or function contained in an email, or send an email to hello@bondibeachbabes.com.au with "UNSUBSCRIBE" in the subject line.

This Privacy Policy applies only to our Platform, and not to websites or services owned by third parties. We may provide links to other websites which we believe may be of interest.
