I am lucky that I live in Bondi Beach and have tandem parking, however I really feel for the families who park at Bondi. By the time they get the kids out, go for a walk, and then eat, their parking time has expired. What a rude shock for them when they are greeted with a 79 dollar parking ticket!

What do these families do when they choose to go out next time, they certainly don't come back to Bondi! This might suit the businesses who are competing against Bondi Beach, however certainly not the businesses in Bondi. Has anyone recently noticed the number of for let signs on Hall Street and Bondi Road?

Finding parking is stressful, not only do you have to find a spot, you need to find the meter, and when you do park your stressed about the time. It shouldn't be that way, so as a community let's change that. Council Elections are coming up in September 2008, so let's make sure our voices are heard.

I will propose validated free parking to each council member as I wait to get approval for my other idea to promote Bondi Beach, Bondi Beach Babes.
